Anyone can nominate a woman for consideration as a Woman of Excellence.

Nominations open on Monday, November 15, 2010.
Nominations close on Monday, January 10, 2011.

Honourees will be selected from the nominations by a volunteer committee of community leaders, including previous Women of Excellence. A Woman of Excellence is someone who has achieved significant accomplishments, has contributed to her local, regional or national community, embodies the values of the YMCA, and serves as an inspiration to everyone.

Women can be nominated in the following categories:
Art, Culture & Heritage
Business, Professions & Trades
Community, Volunteerism & Humanity
Education, Training & Development
Health, Science & Technology
Sport, Fitness & Recreation
Young Woman of Excellence
